My Quest to 50- Here I come Washington DC

My Quest to 50

So I decided my next destination race will be Washington, DC it will be the Rock and Roll Series Half Marathon (13.1) miles on Saturday March 17. This will be race #3 on my quest for 50. My training will begin December 27 which will be a 12 week training plan. I have done numerous half marathons before and I know I can run the 13 miles but I like order and following schedules when it comes to my training for a race or even workouts. My workout plan will consist of 4days running and will continue to cross train with weight training, spinning and boxing,etc.

I have never been to DC before so I’m excited to go and visit and will make some time to be a tourist besides running around the city and not being able to stop and take in the moment. Luckily the race is on a Saturday so I can have the weekend to be a tourist and check out the city and maybe run into Obama lol.
